More Bailout Debating, Less Doing

Filed under: Financial Crisis — The Elitist @ 12:18 pm

Here we go again! It’s like déjà vu. The House is voting on the $700 billion bailout package and is debating it today. Will there be a vote? Will it pass? Let’s all speculate and cry when the world ends tomorrow. The bill is, of course, expected to pass. But it’s different than the last time we all expected it to pass, because this time it has an extra $150 billion added in earmarks. So that’s $700 billion for Wall Street, $150 billion for the politicians, who are we leaving out? Well, we can’t think of anyone, so it should definitely pass – or the world will end again.
