Cha-Ching!

Cha-Ching!

Oh Sarah Palin, when aren’t you violating codes of ethics by taking money that doesn’t belong to you? Just a few weeks after a legislative council found Palin guilty of violating ethics rules for the troopergate mess, she is now being accused of giving her kids flights and hotel rooms on Alaska’s dime. This has totaled $21,000, which is pittance compared to the $150,000 she spent on clothing, but is also 30% of Alaska’s total budget. The funny part is that after the fact, she went back and amended the expense forms to specify that the kids were on official state business. Curious about how this will turn out? Then check out this tidbit from the Washington Post:

“Any ethics complaints against a governor, lieutenant governor or attorney general go to the Alaska Personnel Board to determine whether state law was violated. The three-member panel is appointed by the governor.”
